![]() ![]() I've done the entire run T3 on tank and burg. You were warden during which t3 boss exactly? I feel like you and me have a very very different understanding of what a warden can offer and do in a raid when played correctly. You are very, very hard to kill.įirst boss is arguably the easiest boss that has been released in a raid in a long while. Then you add on self shields of 200/300/400k depending on your moral. With Joy of battle and tome too the brawler without any help can become immune (or at least very close to immune) to damage for a good 35 seconds. But weather blow and iron will give huge amounts. 13% from mettle shield usable if only 1/2 targets hitting you. Your base damage reduction is 10% with stance. So your base 60%, +5% (traits), +10% (all for one), +6% (Plant feet), +2% (heavy finisher) your at 83% before anyone else buffs you or things from gear.īut thats not even the best bit. In U33 All For One will give 10% mitigations. It has the highest mitigations while Plant Feet buff is activated with All For One. Just to breakdown why brawler is the hardest tank. And I don't think it's fair to say guard is overperforming that much, and brawler especially isn't. The only debate you have is guard / brawler being the same as it. It's really hard to put yellow captain anywhere but the best tank given the current raid. With last stand you basically can wipe and start again. ![]() And buffs for everyone.įor 3/6man, the tank having a rez is invaluable. Then you add on Shield of the dunadain on the other tank. Brawler + Captain means the brawler can have a a good uptime of nearly 50% damage reduction! The part captain shines is giving some of those bonuses to the other tank too. The captain's Shield Brother, On Guard, and Battle-Hardened give good amounts. The raid, especially higher tiers, will favour reduction > mitigations because of the shred. But thankfully it does do some help healing itself, and the banner is huge. I agree it's not as hardy as guard / cap and requires more healing. I was pleasantly surprised by the Brawler, great mits apparently, because they're very easy to heal. I dont know if it's due to the fact that I met some captain's who dont know how to play their class, or who just stacked vit, but they just seem so squishy after a few minutes. However, I must admit that from a healer's pov, and after raiding and doing 3 and 6 man instances, I prefer healing a guardian over a cappy. Interesting, and can agree with most of it. However, your mileage may vary and that's a good perspective for you to share too! I have 8 level 140s and ran enough HH to get a good idea I believe. This is for the current end game meta from my perspective. I am not trying to dissuade you from your class or role in any other content. Please check out other tier lists people have made for a better idea than just me! It's easy to forget warden - as many are - and so I unfortunately have to put everything below balanced. You will need to reduce your damage output to not hit any of many reflects around. Your AoE dots may kill you on higher tiers. Red and yellow are both fine dps, but the raid is extremely anti warden. The main reason you want a blue warden is so you don't bring a red/yellow warden for it's non-gambit debuffs. The self heal buff is great, the NS fix is great, damage reduction is super awkward to use, but compared to any other tank it's just not enough. ![]()
